Has vast experience of establishing and leading large budget, multi-disciplinary project teams using analytical, co-ordinating and motivational skills to manage and complete projects within specific time and cost constraints.  These teams included digital and analogue designers, mechanical design and software.  Has valuable marketing and company acquisition experience, and knowledge of IPR generation/harvesting, and technology marketing / transfer

Atholl has founded two product design based SMEs which have succeeded in designing and taking to market several patent- protected and award winning products. These have included inventive and state of the art design of market leading solutions

Atholl has experience of an adviser role with NWDA as a regional business adviser.  As part of this role he developed a Virtual Digital Cumbria strategy for the Northwest Digital Industries Sector (DINW)
