About Me:

I am an industrial Designer from the Rep. of Ireland and a graduate from University College Dublin where I studied electronic engineering (2004 B.Eng. Hons). After working at the MIT Media Lab Europe, I came to study at the Royal College of Art's Industrial Design Engineering programme, where I was awarded the Dyson Centenary Scholarship (2007). I worked as a research associate at the Helen Hamlyn Centre, leading a project aiming to improve the wayfinding experiences of visually impaired people. The project was a finalist in the 2009 Index Awards. I have recently worked with Olympus and for Panasonic in Japan, am currently an electronics and physical computing lecturer at the Royal College of Art and do ongoing work as a freelance designer. My current employment at the London College of Fashion's Digital Design Studio has me developing concepts and scenarios for the future of the fashion industry, including innovative design, manufacturing and retail solutions.
